Victoria Hunter

19 (b. 1875) | MCHB | Hufflepuff Class of '93 | Potion & Plant Poisoning Junior Healer | 9 Rep

Older sister of Benedict Hunter, Victoria is loyal and hardworking young woman who is currently working as a Plant & Potion Poisoning Junior Healer at Hogsmeade Hospital. Her parents worked hard to support her dream of becoming a Healer, and she wants to make them proud. Most people likely know that her family owns a pet shop called Hunter's Pets on High Street (and two other shops run by Muggles elsewhere in England), and she and her family live above it. She needs:

— Friends/Acquaintances: Old and new, and can be from any class. She's the friendly sort and generally non-judgmental, so this leaves open a wide range of friendship opportunities. She was a Hufflepuff from 1886-1893, and has been working at the hospital since she got her NEWT scores. She was promoted to Junior Healer in July 1894. She'd likely get along with other plant enthusiasts, as well!

— Hurls: She does want a family one day, and is looking for a husband. Tori, herself, would likely be looking for MCAB, but I'm open to literally anything haha. She's had a prospect or two since graduation - would love to determine who those could be! - but nothing has come of them since, and neither Tori nor her parents are in any rush to see her married off.

— Shop Customers?: Vic often helps her father make in-house products for the shop (think tinctures, treats, and other wellness remedies and the like) and used to help out during summer vacations from school - if you're a regular, you probably know her!

@“Zinnia Gallagher” is a high street employee at her family’s store. I’m sure she’ll stop in since her husband came with an adorable dog lol.

@“Delilah Warbeck” is much older than she is, but she works for the P&PP at St. Mungo’s, so we could do something there.

Apollonia Honeycutt - is the Owner of The Three Broomsticks and loves frequenting Hogsmeade village stores!
Edelweiss Prewett - is younger, but also very friendly and I could see her admiring Tori for following her dreams.
Saffron Whitby - A bit older than Tori but I feel like after a hard day at work Saffy would stop by the shop and say hi to all the animals there to de-stress.
Sybella Capobianco - My fellow healer! Also older. She's in artifacts but she's a friendly face and used to be a patient at St. Mungo's which is no secret.
Tilda MacFusty - You know her! She'd have been working as a healer there until just a year ago or so.
Veronica Gallivan - Another High Street shop owner that is very friendly!

Love what you have made of her

Of course Benedict Hunter is right there with her at home or working the shop over the school holidays or popping back to the shop on Hogsmeade days. Would enjoy getting to write with the PC Tori instead of NPC Tori.

Regards other characters

Salvatore Howlett is a healer at Hogsmeade hospital so could be a friendly collegue and she might have even recently attended his wedding.

Dorothea Potts is a frequent shopper for the family that holds her employment and I suspect at some point soon might begin taking an interest in the Hunters a little bit due to their respective siblings so might try and befriend Tori a little bit

He might be a bit too old from a hurling standpoint (or maybe not, idk, it's the victorian era) but he would def come to Hogsmeade Hospital if he had a potions/plant injury to avoid seeing his ex at St. Mungos >> So could be an interesting thread regardless!

Kenna Buchanan is around her age, but didn't finish much Hogwarts. She's a maid at the 3BS. Could use a friend!

Noah Farley is a couple years older, works at the ministry, unlikely hurl, but it amuses me.

Sage Whitby works at a mediwitch for Hogsmeade & Jack Collins heads the creatures ward.

my other hurls are Emmett Harper & Tobias Ollivander though I'm not sure how feasible they are!

Hello yoouuu. <3 I want to thread with them all, but touching on a few that catch my eye:
— I could see Tor knowing or knowing of Apollonia! I imagine her and her friends would have gone to TTB during Hogsmeade weekends, and maybe she even meets up with her brother there on certain weekends, as well.
— My headcanon is that Tor loves snuggling the kittens on stressful days - Saffron is welcome to join her haha.
— Tildaaa <3 I could see Tor looking up to both Tilda and Sybella as older women Healers, or at least, as women who have more experience in the healing field lol.

— I have to catch up with everything that happened with Sloane, but I could see them being friendly even just by the standpoint of being of a similar age and class rank. And yes, please, to Alvin as a hurl!
— I could see Vic and Kenna becoming friends! Looks like Kenna left school the same year that Vic entered it, but they have similar dispositions, so it could be fun to throw them together to see how things evolve.
— Hahah what's funny about Noah is that I saw his profile, saw that they were a year apart in school, and also thought it would be an amusing connection. xD
— Sage and Jack would also be good friendly acquaintances!
— I'm open to hurling with both Emmett and Tobias as I am not 100% sure what Victoria is looking for yet. I just know that she wants children of her own one day haha.

I think I will have Benedict write her a letter after going back to the new term or something she is aware that Ben and Millie friends and that Ben is sweet on her (but not that they have kissed). She teased him (in a friendly way) on Christmas days because she knew he was delivering a Christmas present to Millie. I've always pictured Tori as a bit of a confidante to her little brother that he might tell her things he keeps from his parents.
