ATALANTA HART
[Image: z14X6Kj.jpeg]
B. 1834 | UCPB | OPEN HOUSE | HEALER
The heart of the Hart family, Atalanta married for love and has encouraged her children to do the same... so long as her girls also marry within their class. She has at least two sisters, Daphne (1841 - 1892) and The Aunt; any other siblings she might have are likely younger. Not only did she marry a halfblood in spite of being raised in a family with semi-purist views, but after her first daughter was born, she trained as a healer, stopping work only at times when pregnancy and new babies demanded it from then on. She misses her late husband but tamped down her grief in order to support her children, who she loves fiercely. Suggested PB is Ellen Pompeo; alternatives to be blonde and caucasian.

RESERVED for MYSELF
This is truly a new low.

Mrs. Yaxley
Mrs. Yaxley (MCAB, b. ~1867-69) could have had the world — or at least she could have had things a good deal better than she currently does. She married young in/around 1888 to Mr. – Yaxley, and was nearly immediately seduced by Don Juan Dempsey. Being young (and in love?) she was not especially circumspect about their affair and was caught in the act by Rowan Yaxley, her husband's cousin and good friend, in 1889. Rowan confided it to him, and he went about seeing to the matter privately, in order to save both his own dignity and his family's reputation. Mrs. Yaxley was understandably shut out of his confidences, so was entirely caught off guard when her husband was arrested for planning an illegal duel. The whole story came out to law enforcement, then spread like wildfire, and she was ruined.

It has been five years since the incident, and Mrs. Yaxley is still married to her husband — though their relationship is understandably not awesome, and she also has a frosty reception at best with the rest of the Yaxley family. Despite having no more public scandals, she is still something of a pariah — her maximum reputation is 6 (max for anyone who has lost more than 3 points at once).

She may or may not have children (one of them may or may not be Don Juan's :P). PB and ethnicity are open; pictured is Kara Hayward.

MRS. YAXLEY IS RESERVED FOR LOU.

"ARAM"
24-34 | MCAB | GRYFFINCLAW | DRAGONKEEPER
"Aram" did not win points with his family when he decided to eschew the family business (architecture) in favour of dragonkeeping. His relationship with them, as a result, is strained (and his reputation a bit lower), with his mother constantly fretting that he is going to die and his father refusing to speak to him. "Aram" is incredibly capable. He is introverted, but not unfriendly, and is thought well of by both Madoc Yarwood and Mr. Farris. Pictured PB is Marcus Rutherford.

TEODORA FLORES DELGADO
[Image: dUtHyos.jpeg]
B. 1875 | MCHB | HUFFLEPUFF | DEBUTANTE
One "good" sister, one "bad" sister. Teodora has chosen the path of least resistence, following Penélope's example in joining society on the quest for a wealthy husband. Unfortunately, her earliest efforts have borne only mediocre fruit, with two proposals from middle class gentlemen in her first season, both rejected. Teodora is at odds with herself: she wants to marry well, to appease her father, but is a romantic at heart. Suggested PB is Camila Cabello.

The Girl
Although technically Don Juan contributed to her conception, The Girl was raised entirely by her mother, a strong-willed woman living somewhere in the European continent, at least until the woman's death a few years ago. When her mother died her remaining relatives took her in and informed Don Juan of the situation, but he declined to involve himself. She has her mother's last name although her parents were technically married at the time of her birth. Play-by is open (and could be biracial!) but pictured is Lara Robinson. She was born around 1882-3 and has never met Don Juan previously. Obviously if played that would change.

THE GIRL IS RESERVED FOR BEANIE.

The Woman
Don Juan's "Wife", to whom he was illegally married while still technically legally married to someone else. The Woman and Don Juan met somewhere in Europe around 1888-1892, had a whirlwind romance, "married" and moved in together. She was then surprised to meet his actual wife, and in the resulting fight threw him out. They have not spoken since. Direction here is very open! Is she out for vengeance? Still in love with him? Unsure if the crazy woman who showed up at her door was telling the truth or not and therefore seeking some sort of clarity over whether she is in fact married to him? Does she follow international news enough to know his brother is Minister of Magic now, did that change something in her mental calculus? Let's discuss!

Age, class, etc are open. PB is open; pictured is Georgina Campbell.

THE WIFE IS RESERVED FOR EMMA.

MacKenna Buchanan
[Image: o_1gpri1qql1ito12na13898dv1a5o17.gif]
B. 1874| WCHB | OPEN HOUSE | OPEN OCCUPATION | REP 4-6
MacKenna caught some scandal a few years ago when she was caught tipping the velvet with the lady of the house she worked at, and the lady's husband was not inclined to keep things fully under wraps. She lives/works in London or Hogsmeade, but has not worked in household service since The Incident. (As you likely guessed, she is either bisexual or a lesbian.) MacKenna completed at least two, but no more than four years at Hogwarts. She is probably the sibling most like Declan — gentle, quiet, and a little over-romantic.

Pictured is Ruby Cruz, with alternatives to be white.

Maeve Buchanan II
[Image: e88a0eaef58441028330cc560954aabac7dd2905.gifv]
B. SPRING 1880 | WCHB | OPEN HOUSE | STUDENT
Maeve II's birth killed his mother, and he's never been able to forget it. He's always been a bit resentful because of it — he knows that his father always thinks of Maeve I when looking at Maeve II, and he secretly wishes he didn't have a girl's name.

His siblings feel bad for him, and are funding his education through at least his fifth year. Pictured is Dylan Kingwell, alternatives to be white.

IMMEDIATE TIES: Declan Buchanan
BONUS TIES: Callum Spinnet Eileen Buchanan; various Hogwarts students
Reserved for Kit

The Botched Beetle Incident
For Cordelia Emsworth & Hadrian Nott

The Sister
Human form is of Indian heritage
1867 | UCHB
unattached | rep 7ish
currently an elephant beetle

Cynthia stuck as an elephant beetle (pictured) after an incident in India involving Cordelia and her ex-husband Hadrian in late 1892. Cursed to the form of a large beetle, Cynthia can only speak to Cordelia (or the person she loves most, which can shift!) and is often found carried around on Delia's shoulder. She's understandably a little peeved about it and retains her more sassy personality from when she was human. Delia is actively trying to fix her, and is gathering information, support and financing to take a trek to do so. Would love for this to start happening IC over the course of the next year! As far as the public knows, Cynthia is "sickly at home", but anyone close to the Emsworths would know about the curse!

F. LOVEGOOD
[Image: dLjybUl.jpeg]
B. 1875 | UCPB SQUIB | HOME TUTORED | DEBUTANTE
Born on Friday the 13th, F is the youngest of her siblings—one who was revealed to be a squib when no invitation to magical schooling arrived. Of the Lovegood siblings, F was always the most isolated as she was not able to attend school. She was also the closest to their mother, and has inherited some of her superstitious nature—though not nearly to the same extent. She has always worked hard to overcompensate for her lack of magic, and is exemplary in the various womanly skills expected by the English society she is eager to join. She has a sunny dispoisition on the outside, but is she truly as confident as she comes across?

No one is saying she's not a squib, but given the circles the girls will be moving in, their aunt suggested avoiding the topic would be best. How F feels about this, and how long it will last, is up to you. Suggested PB is Angourie Rice.

POPPY
[Image: dDwzsd0.jpeg]
B. 1880-1884 | MCMB | OPEN HOUSE | CHILD or FIRST-THIRD YEAR ('94)
One of Dido's nieces, Dido declared when "Poppy" was born that it was lovely to have another witch in the family. This, naturally, freaked out her parents, but by the time "Poppy" was nine without a single sight of abnormality, they had simply written off Dido's comment as wishful thinking (lol).

Name entirely flexible, Poppy is the daughter of one of Dido's older siblings, born between 1852 and 1860. If the daughter of Dido's brother, then Poppy's last name should be Bloom, otherwise this is up to the player! The family lives somewhere in England. Poppy's siblings, if she has any, will not be magical, but her departure for Hogwarts causes the family to give credence to Dido's assertion that cousin Edmund, three years Poppy's junior, will also be attending. I am open to flipping Poppy/Edumund's ages if you'd prefer a male-presenting character.

Suggested PB is Chloe Coleman. Alternatives should be black or mixed-race.

THE FIRST
[Image: cyMYEts.jpg]
B. 1876-1878 | WCHB | OPEN HOUSE | SIXTH/SEVENTH YEAR ('94)
The first of Madoc's bastards (so far as he knows at least). The two have never met, nor is The First aware of Madoc in any capacity beyond "children require fathers to be made". However, Madoc has sent an annual sum to First's mother each year for well-being, until the First began at school at which point, this became tuition and some supply money. They may know that their school is fully paid for, may not.

They (open name and sex!) are currently in their sixth or seventh year at Hogwarts, and excel in CoMC. In the spring of their final year, they will recieve a prestigous(?) invitation to come work at Avalon Glen and a mysterious reference will be sent on their behalf to the DRCMC at the Ministry. They are fully human, and should be at least half-white.

DON JUAN BYRON DEMPSEY

B.1863 | UCHB | PB: DEAKEN BLUMAN or LUKE BRANDON FIELD (pictured)

Don Juan's personality is exactly what one would expect of a famed literary libertine, and never mind that the poem is ironic re: the name. Lord Byron is his actual hero. Accordingly, he is a constant source of migraines for their mother, and generally a Disaster™.

TITUS NOTT

B.1870 | UCPB | SCHOLAR | PB: LOGAN LERMAN

In their youth, Titus was Hadrian's shadow, secretary and general dogsbody – and he was happy to help categorise specimens Hadrian sent home or submit his new species discoveries or write up field reports for him, because Titus has always been a scholar through and through. The research side, naturally: he is proper and veers anxious and a little shy. He might have a fully academic career, or split his time between a Ministry career and extra classes, but he has some connection to the Flint Institute. Now that he's an adult and coming into his own – and usually has his father's support in his ventures – he is less than delighted that Hadrian is home to upset his usual routines.

NOAH FARLEY

B.1874 | MCPB | PB: ARCHIE MADEKWE

Jemima's only younger sibling, the pair have a typical sibling rivalry where they find each other ridiculous and annoying and get into childish spats. Beyond that, his personality is open – he was in any Hogwarts house and can have embarked on any respectable career.
