I'm making Sage (formerly Beth) Whitby and she's got Daddy Issues. Mostly that she has a baby daddy and I would prefer for them to be played. Timeline is flexible but probably between 1890-1892ish! This can go Several Ways. I'm going least dramatic to most, I have zero preference!

Said Baby Daddy was a one-night stand and has no idea.
This was a ~casual situation in which Sage kept the pregnancy from him and stopped seeing him OR something prevented him from being involved.
This was Love and for some reason Baby Daddy couldn't/wouldn't step up.
Baby Daddy is ~otherwise entangled/engaged/married OR upper class and Cannot take responsibility. (Whether Sage knows or not is open!)

What happens to baby can be discussed! Sage almost kept the baby and let the cards fall where they may, but wound up finding a solution she could live with!

I can offer Locke here (it'd fit the track record hmmm). 1890 was after his mistress passed so it could have either been something one night or a longer turn. He isn't engaged/married but for drama's sake, there could have been interference from his father preventing him from sticking around either known or unknown on his part. Or on the flip side, he would have kept the child himself if she wouldn't/couldn't/
