Malou wrinkled her nose at the promise of violence, but it was not her place to critique the man. "Its no matter. I had hoped to avoid it, but..." Malou shrugged having already whined to Fallon of the situation.

"Other than your Mr. Macfusty who should I keep my eye out for? I'm hopelessly lost watching quidditch with out you explaining what to watch for."

"Bixby's been good lately, he's a chaser," she shrugged casually. "And Lestrange, obviously. He caught the snitch in the past two games." Not surprising given the man's history. Fallon gripped her mug with both hands, savouring the smell of her coffee. Perhaps JP would be back soon to discuss their mutual love of coffee again. "I'd just try to follow the quaffle. Hopefully someone in the stands will be as happy to narrate it to you as I am."

"I doubt I'll be that lucky." Her godmother's friends were much more interested in socializing then quidditch, yet another thing Malou had to dread. "I'm more likely to hear about Lestrange's marriage prospects then his skill catching a snitch." It had already been brought up several times already as it was entirely unfathomable that a woman of her age might not wish to marry. Not that Malou didnt want love, but marriage was a gamble she would only take for the sake of genuine interest in another person.

Despite knowing Malou's stance on the issue, Fallon couldn't help but laugh. Upperclassmen were so concerned with who married whom that they lost out on exploring who the individuals were. She was happy Malou had escaped such a reality (for the most part). "You mean you don't want to hear all about when the next Lestrange wedding will be?"

"It should be such a riveting conversation." Malou said dryly a smile playing at the edges of her lips. "Besides it only a matter of time before the suggestion is made that we are both odd and therefore would be a good match." Clearly Malou did not agree.

"If only you were a pureblood." Fallon wrinkled her nose at the word, a clear distaste for blood purity. "The Lestrange's would practice sibling incest before marrying outside of their blood type."

"Thank Merlin for that." Malou stood up and began to clear the table.

"Oh! I made some biscuits to take with you." Malou had entirely forgotten about them cooling. "I swear they dont taste like salt lumps this time." Her first time making biscuits had been memorable even if it had been years ago. Thankfully her cooking had improved in that time.

Fallon chugged her remaining coffee and stood to take her dishes to their tiny kitchen. It was a nice routine they had, one Fallon would sorely miss when Malou eventually married. Malou did most of the cooking, and Fallon cleaned their flat.

"Oh, thank you," she replied in her most cheerful tone that morning. Malou's bisquits were delicious now that she knew how to make them. To have a few to take with her was a treat. "I'll see you tonight, yeah?"

Of course!” Malou replied brightly. She had nowhere else to be after all, or at least she hoped that she would not. She did have an early shift the next morning. “Have fun today!
