"I am," Ben said, with some relief. If they were stuck here together, it was at least some relief that she was another witch, and that she spoke English, and everything. Rosewood seemed like a vaguely familiar name, so she was probably English, though he couldn't place her right away. "Not that it's doing me much good at the moment."
Ben looked around the island again, wondering if there was anything here that they could use to do... anything. A portkey would be handy, but even if there was one hidden here, how would they find it? Maybe if they understood how they'd gotten here in the first place, they could figure out a way to work their way back?
"Did you come from Hogsmeade?" he asked Miss Rosewood. "Do you remember anything about how you got here?"
