Oz looked up with interest at Christabel's revolutionary inclinations. Of all his younger siblings he wouldn't have expected her to be the sort to take up arms against the magical government (at least, not while she was still presumably looking for a husband in society). He wouldn't have necessarily said that he disapproved, though he also wasn't keen to join the mobs himself if it came down to it. It sounded like difficult and violent work; he couldn't be bothered.
"Well, its people are mostly English," he pointed out. He didn't know exact population numbers, but one didn't have to be a statistician to know that the English outnumbered the Scottish, Irish, and Welsh — probably put together. The Muggles certainly did, and he would have been surprised to hear that any of the demographics had a significantly larger portion of magical residents than any other. "And I'm sure they don't care one way or another about an Irish parliament. Anyway — maybe some of us like being unconsidered," he pointed out with a shrug. "At the moment I only have anything to do with the Ministry when I need them for something, and I think I greatly prefer it to them nosing about my business."
