My middle-aged crew for potential friends:

Conall MacKay is WC, Irish but emigrated to America, had a magical creature farm in New Hampshire for a time there, he attended Hogwarts himself but his daughter went to Ilvermorny! Very straightforward in manner and often grumpy, but would like to meet more Americans. xD

Ewart Fraser is an eccentric historian/charms enthusiast who lives with his wife and kids in Irvingly. Is also mischievous and youthful in spirit, so if they met they might get along!

I would love Ruth to have some friends her age; MacKay and her would have a lot in common but Fraser's enthuasism for life would thrill her to bits! It's a tough decision xD She'd hand out a small lecture or two, but wouldn't really discourage young James from living life -- and living life comes with scrapes and bruises; would probably just remind him to be mindful of his limits (something something unhappy something lecturing threats of uncomfortable healing if this continues lol)
