I'd love to see Beth interact with some of the other members of Hogwarts staff as well as the students! So if you want to do more threads with Hamish, then I'd be up for one with him <3 Especially considering he was both the Professor of Magic History and Hufflepuff head during the one year she spent at Hogwarts; she definitely remembers him! She probably wasn't the best student grades-wise, but she did try her best given he was (and is) both a professor, a head of house and a deputy headmaster lol
Mood-wise, I'd love for maybe something tense and awkward that smooths out in the end -- even after three years, Beth hasn't really "settled" in as a part of the school staff and maybe Hamish has noticed?
