I'm glad that wandlore led you here — although I must admit to being jealous at the success of another field — and it does seem possible that spontaneous visions are similar to spontaneous magic. The difference, I suppose, is that one doesn't outgrow spontaneous visions — or at least I have yet to encounter someone who has.
