Dear Miss Lestrange,I didn't think it was in your character to ignore my letters, but after three I admit I'd begun to worry that you had no further intention to speak to me. Don't fret any longer. There is nothing for me to forgive. I must ask, though, should I be concerned about your sister? Is the type to spread rumors, or worse—inform your guardians of our correspondence? I only worry for you, of course. I don't want to see your reputation harmed because of letters you never read to begin with.
On that note I promise the letters I sent contained nothing that would allude to our activities, except perhaps one line that spoke of how I haven't been able to get you out of my mind.
