Dear Mrs. L. Rose,My debut was this weekend and the gown was splendid, only this boorish gentleman stepped on the train midway through and tore the hem. My sister did a bit of spellwork to make it serviceable the rest of the night but I was wondering if perhaps I could bring it in for a proper repair? I know it's not the fashion to wear a debut gown again during one's first season but I did so love the dress and I can't bear the thought of it languishing in a closet. Perhaps you might make some adjustments as well so that I could wear it again this summer?
Sincerely,
