"No," Juliana said hastily. This was a question she didn't need to hesitate over, at least, because she had been reluctant enough to ask for Miss MacFusty's help with even this small favor. If there had been any way to avoid it, she would have. She certainly wasn't going to request something else from Lachlan MacFusty's sister, after she had determined it was best if she never saw him again.

"Thank you, Miss MacFusty," she said with a smile that didn't look quite genuine, as she moved to go. "This has been a tremendous help, honestly. And I'm sorry for having taken your whole break with it. Take care."
