I would have written sooner, but between the shipwreck and other matters I have not been able to locate an owlery I deem trustworthy enough to deliver such an important letter. Remind Zenobia that it's not ladylike to cry in front of others, but be gentle in doing so—let her know that Papa and I will be home soon, and that all is well. I love you and your sister very much.
