Tabi chuckled softly to herself. "Yes, I suppose you're right." She wouldn't have expected him to recognize her after all, he hadn't had his sight while he was in her care and then to be sent home while she was out, he hadn't actually laid eyes on her. She honestly thought she might prefer it that way.

"I'm fine now," She assured him quickly. "There was a spill in the hallway in the ward and I didn't see it. All healed though, this is just to give my bones a chance to rest." No need to get into the details of her broken collarbone and fractured forearm. She was fine now, it was an easy fix, but because of the clavicle, the sling was necessary for a few days. "Are you sure you don't mind? It's by a Parisian wandmaker..." Tabi pulled the pine wand from her pocket and set it on the counter between them. It was obviously cracked and she was certain that unicorn hair was peeking out.

"I was born there, so my father thought it a whimsical touch." It was a place that was unequivocally theirs, though Tabitha didn't remember living there, it was a place for just her and her father, no step-family. Going to get her wand there was one of her most favorite memories. The sentimentally was a little overwhelming and if he couldn't fix it, she might just be devastated.
