Lester was right, as usual. From the sounds of it, the fight had certainly been two-sided and maybe it was just her, but she just couldn't imagine not apologizing after something like that. Things were unlikely to be fixed at this point, apologies or not, but damn if she didn't understand it. Sloane was the first one to admit she was wrong and that she had a mean streak when mad or backed into a corner, but she was also quick so say she was sorry afterward too.
"I think this one is permanent." She sighed, pulling at an errant twig in the base of her broom. Hopefully in time it would dull down and they could maybe at least stand being in the same room together, but for now Sloane knew she was going to have to keep separate circles where they were concerned.
As they neared the steps leaning into the castle itself, Sloane hoped her face wasn't too big of a mess after the flying and the crying. "Hey Hatch," She started, knowing she probably didn't need to say it, but for her own peace of mind, "Keep this between us?" Not that she thought he would say anything, but he was friends with Cam too and if anybody was going to tell Cam that she'd broken her promise, it should be her.
