Oh my dear, you mustn't let your anxieties get the better of you! I daresay Uncle Lucius will not be thrilled by this particular bout of gossip, but I expect he will have a few stern words and leave it there. After all, you are his daughter now, and carrying his grandchild besides!
I am pleased, though not surprised, to know that Claudius took the revelation in stride. Your husband is a tremendous ally to have, and I am happy that he has not proved a disappointment in that regard.
Will you come for tea tomorrow? I know the girls would love to see you, and I feel so dreadful being so far during this difficult time.
