None of Alfreds romantic situation was ideal. Pablo did not envy him one single bit. Not being able to go to your lady and explain things in person certainly did sound complicated.

"I heard about that. The party, that is. Not your friend sending letters to your lady," it probably didn't need explaining but he was now minorly invested. His own purpose for being at the post office in the first place was utterly forgotten. He nodded, taking out a cigarette to idle the time as Alfred went to the counter.
