This was not the sort of thing he usually said - it wasn’t a healthy line of thinking for him, it made him feel guilty and bad and like he needed to do something risky - and he was visibly surprised that he said it. He tried to continue as if it hadn’t come out of his mouth, like they could just wallpaper over things: ”It could be worse. They could be attractive women.”
