Jesse snorted at her response. He knew Dory pretty well, they worked together quite a bit. He reminded Jess of a younger version of himself at times. It was true though, if it were up to Fisk, Jess would still be the one getting promoted. However, Jess was not one to count his chickens before they hatched. Realistic to a fault.
