What would it take to get him to duel: Probably him being challenged, he's pretty laid back but also not at all averse to the idea of dueling. Maybe if someone tried to forcibly sleep with his wife or made some other obvious breech of honor towards a woman he felt he should protect.
Who would be his second: Arthur Pettigrew for most things, Aldous Crouch if it was a family thing and Ben was basically only dueling because he thought Aldous should but Ben would be better at it.
