Mild Confusion

Amazingly, Conall gave his blessing without putting up too much of a fight. (Whether or not that blessing would still be given if Eavan's father knew just why the rushed marriage was taking place was debatable, but Beau wasn't about to push that issue. He would deal with whatever fallout after the baby was safe from being labelled a bastard. And, hopefully, the blow of the fallout would be lessened by the fact that he had done right by Eva.)

However, Beau knew better than to push his welcome further this morning. So, after returning the nod, he muttered a quick "will do" and made to stand. He paused before stepping away from the table, though, to glance once more at the redheaded man. "Thank you for your blessing." The statement was made earnestly, Beau's blue eyes softening for perhaps the first time throughout the conversation. "I'm running late for the zoo. Enjoy the rest of your breakfast."

Merlin, now he had a bloody wedding to plan and house to find.
