He’d only received an A on his Herbology OWL; he hadn’t dealt with any magical plants since school. “I want something that’s easy upkeep, but still nice-looking. I didn’t get the green thumb in my family.” Well, that wasn’t true. Lach had never had a black thumb, but he’d never been interested enough in Herbology or plants as a topic to invest his time in trying.
“But I’m open to suggestions,” he continued with a noncommittal shrug. It wasn’t like he had to commit to anything that day, right?
