Well, that had certainly been easy. It also reassured Baxter that perhaps their connection was in fact a mutual feeling, rather than him just hovering over her in some soft of pseudo-protective way. Their circumstances were quite unusual, and Bax wished much of it was different, for Odira's sake, but at least in the long run it seemed things were taking a positive turn.

Bax didn't have any idea as to what they could do outside of these large events, but since he had enjoyed their picnic, perhaps there could be more things like that in their future, he knew so woefully little about things like this. He could run a hospital, but courting a pretty lady was out of his depth, clearly, as he'd already failed to do so twice in his life. "I'll let you pick the first venture, anything you'd like." Was that cheating? Maybe, but it would give him some good groundwork to work on afterwards.
