For the first time during their trip, a touch of sadness crinkled the edges of his eyes. It seemed he too realized the truth of Jo's words. Even if they weren't meant to be more, Zach was determined to hang onto the shred of whatever this was. He felt at ease with her. He felt content, but also a strange new yearning need for adventure.
