This was becoming much less fun than he'd anticipated. His face slipped into a pout when Sloane, not Alice, grabbed the card, intent on being hard on him. It was the ultimate betrayal.
"Remember how we talked about being honest with our feelings, dear Sloane?" he said sarcastically as he pulled his wand out. He looked at the candlestick, which he knew was bound to remain a candlestick. "Well, right now I'm feeling very resentful towards all this," he explained, motioning to the candlestick wit his hand. He stared at the object from all angles, only passing a glance to both girls once. It was better not to watch them laugh at him. He could only stand so many hits to his pride per day.
He finally attempted to cast the spell, and watched as the gold candlestick turned to a glass vase that was similar to Sloane's—temporarily. A smile began to spread on his face, because though it was misshapen it was a vase... but then it had to go and shatter, of course.
Scowling, he leaned back on the couch and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Sisse would never do this to me," he complained.
