Dear Miss Bonaccord,I am healing well enough. I've fractured enough ribs on the quidditch pitch that I feel I've grown immune to the chest pain, but I admit the punctured lung is a unique discomfort. The healers have ensured me that I should be well enough to play for the first game of the school year, but that I must rest in order to do so. I told them I would try, but in my eyes nothing is more boring than being bedridden.
I'm glad that it's not only I who enjoyed our short time on the pitch together! I'm so used to playing alongside my sister and against the Hufflepuff team, so playing against her and alongside you was an experience I will not quickly forget. It was certainly one of the highlights of my Hogwarts career. Tell your father that I appreciate the support and will make his daughter work to have a chance to defeat Gryffindor this fall.
I will see you at Hogwarts. I hope you find a seeker who can only dream to match Miss Bixby in skill; our matches would be dreadfully boring otherwise.
Yours,
