Late Afternoon
JP,Late Afternoon
I'll reserve Jesse Patrick for when you inevitably frustrate me as all significant others are bound to do.
I think any sane person would have roasted by now. A few blankets have made their way to the end of the bed, but not many. Hopefully by the time I'm released to go home I won't require such a mess of blankets. Malou and I don't own this many.
I suppose you're right. It's hard not to fret over him after doing so in such conditions. He obviously had never gone through auror training, so most of the magic work had fallen to me. They said not to feel responsible for whatever happens, but how can I not? It was my careless mistake that got us sent to there in the first place. When I felt the pull of the portkey I went to steady my hand on the bartop and landed on him instead. If not for that he would've been safe here and I could've figured out how to survive on my own. I don't know. Just feel guilty, I guess.
As for the fire, it was something I wasn't aware of until you summoned it. And it was such a thoughtful move on your part I didn't have the heart to tell you. It's alright, truly. Makes me panic a bit is all.
I'll see you then.
Yours,
Fallon
