Fallon snagged two twigs from the pile and stashed them within her pocket. It would take dedicated thought to charm them into a broom (if it was at all possible) but was worth the effort. She took the offered stone and glared at the pile of debris. No fire was going to be hot enough to keep them from freezing tonight. Still, it had to be done. Not bothering to use the rock, Fallon used her wand to create a spark, watching in grateful awe as a small flame flickered. Perhaps she could transfigure the rock into something flammable...

She sagged back onto her heels. Right now the pair had a respectable amount of distance between them. However, if there was any hope of not freezing they needed to conserve as much energy as possible...which meant possibly sharing body heat. Merlin. He was going to think this was all some ploy.

"We have to," Fallon stated. The adrenaline rush was beginning to subside, and with it the exhaustion that accompanied stress crept in. What she would give for a pepper up potion right about now. Fallon cast a warming charm on the floor beneath them. It wouldn't take all the chill away, but it'd make it so it didn't burn to touch. Still, she kept her hands buried in the furs of her pockets whenever possible. "If we - hm - if we get closer we'll be able to save more energy for the trek in the morning." Ideally, one would remove their jacket and she could make it into a blanket of sorts. Fallon would have to recast the charm often throughout the night, but at least they wouldn't freeze. "I realize it's improper, but I really don't want to die out here."
