Zach pursed his lips in thought at the mention of the cost of magic ships. Surely, it wasn’t as much to head from Egypt to Greece, but he felt somehow responsible for any debts she might have incurred. He’d have to brainstorm some way to make up for that.
"Yes," he admitted with a laugh at Jo’s commentary on portkeys. In his trade, it was a necessary evil as far as time and expense went. It was a pity he was so terrible on a broomstick; it might have been a good alternative for certain trips.
It was strange to have company. He was rather used to traveling alone, but he fell so easily in-step next to her that he wondered what he had been missing. "I have nowhere to be today. I made sure of it." Although Jo was an accomplished traveler, there was no sense in dragging her to stuffy bookshops on their first day. In fact, he had ensured that there were less than normal stops. Though, he could thank the fact that some of his usual contacts had attended the literary festival, thus sparing him a few visits. "Corinth would be lovely. I’ve yet to visit. I would love to see all of your favorite places."
He meant it. There was nothing more lovely than to hear a person speak about the places and things they appreciated the most.
"I am not expected at any location on a certain day except for one. Corfu on Wednesday. There’s a magizoologist and herbalist pair who assures me the trip will be worth it. Apparently, the flora and fauna there is unrivaled."
