"I —" Dunstan began, quietly bewildered but also fine with answering this unexpected question. But then Acacia grabbed his wrist abruptly, and Dun found himself being led from the Great Hall. He looked at Acacia the whole time — slightly down at her in fact, for he was taller than his sisters these days — relieved that she was feeling better, but slightly concerned by this behaviour.
"Erm", he hesitated as they walked through the more private Entrance Hall, realising he'd left Crystal's question hanging. "Well", he tore his gaze from Acacia to look at the Slytherin. "I remember you all took me there partly to cheer me up when I wasn't allowed to enroll at Hogwarts. I remember talking to friends there, seeing a wizard selling flying carpets, trying a strange sweet pumpkin snack — but most of all I remember the tigers. The flying tigers, attacking everyone. I wanted to stay behind and help, but you each grabbed my hands and you — all of you —" meaning all three of his sisters, "dragged me away."
They hadn't talked about this for a while, and there was that old hint of regret in his tone. He still sometimes wondered what would've happened if he'd stayed behind to help — perhaps he could've saved a life.
