Cammie smiled. It might not be better forever, but it was better for now, and that was what he needed. At least he would have regular company that wasn't Maddy's scolding and homework help from Sisse or Moony. It would still be a while until he got out, though, and in the meantime he'd have to find some way to occupy his time.
"She said it could be a while," he admitted with a frown. "Weeks, maybe. One of legs was crushed, and I have a handful of other fractures. Ribs, mostly. I also sprained my ankle." There was probably more, too, but he couldn't be bothered to focus on it, because that meant more pain.
"I told her I had to be better by the next game. She said she'd have to see." A deeper frown.
