He expertly skipped past her suggestion of help, but she noticed and decided to let it go. As long as he knew she was willing to help, if he decided he needed or wanted it, she was content for now.

"I bet I could take ya, She waggled her eyebrows at him now, a smirk tugging at the corner of her lips. "I've been told I'm pretty scrappy." She balled up her fists in front of her playfully.
To say she hadn't been in a fight or two in her youth would have been a lie, she was a defender of all things little and weird as a child. Now though, the thought was laughable; Beau was easily over a foot taller than her and a wall of solid muscle (she knew for a fact) that probably weighed twice as much as she did.
