Which is your character's favorite: beef, pork, poultry, ham, venison, lamb?
I'll say beef, but modern!Ruby would totally be an Instagram vegan.
Does your character tend to overthink things (i.e. wonder why their patronus is their patronus) or do they just accept everything without questioning it?
Yep.
Was your character educated in muggle history and sciences as a youth, or did their parents have them learn only things that would be relevant to them in the magical world?
I would say yes.
Do your characters keep up with the regular happenings of the muggle world, or do they turn a blind eye to it?
She's aware of major things happening but she doesn't follow muggle news too closely. She'd know if a royal died or something, though.
What is your character's "ideal" partner, if they so desire one? What traits do they specifically dislike (barring "stat-like" traits like blood status)?
She wants a prince Charming, someone who will "rescue" her. So someone who accepts her no matter what and is funny and chivalrous and his entire life purpose is to make her happy.
How would your character react if a family member married a muggle or a squib?
She'd be cool with that, though she'd personally think that it would limit them a lot, because there's a lot of things about wizard culture that muggles couldn't grasp.
Is their anything particularly notable/odd about your character's bedroom? Do they decorate it strangely, or does it look like what you'd imagine being the "norm" for their class?
I imagine she shares a room with her sisters, so probably not.
What is your character's preferred method of transportation?
Floo.
What's your character's greatest insecurity?
That she is who she is. Ruby haaaates herself right now and thinks that her entire existence is wrong. I sometimes feel sad writing her tbh, I want her to start loving herself mooore. But it definitely makes her an interesting character to write and it makes me look objectively at how harsh I can be on myself. For example, she hates herself for being good in art and Divination instead of advanced Transfiguration, which I can relate to because I'm sometimes like "why are you good in history and philosophy instead of engineering you loser". So I view her as a kinda psychoanalytic character for me. I really want her to meet someone who will help her get away from her negative loop. The Victorian version of a self help author or something. xD
