Dear Mr. Adlard,
I pray you'll forgive the lateness of the hour, as I'm unsure of who else to address this too.
There is a fearsome beast loitering in the woods surrounding my backyard. I've heard its hollering often throughout the past week. However, just this evening as Adelaide and I were heading out for a stroll it was within feet of our back door. I've warded the house and sent the children upstairs to bed, but it hasn't left.
Last I checked it was pacing around the yard grunting. Were it not for Sebastian's overwhelming curiosity I would leave it til morning, but I'm afraid he'll attempt an encounter should my nerves steady enough to allow me sleep.
Please help.
Maggie
