If Helga had been a year or two younger, she might have gone red walking arm-in-arm with Harriet Prewett—who by all accounts was one of society's most distinguished socialites—but now Helga spent the short time to the refreshments table remembering the names of all her eligible sons and daughters.
"My sisters have a special place in my heart, but I must confess we don't always see eye-to-eye," she said with a pleasant giggle. In truth, she didn't see much of her two eldest sisters now that they were married, and she and Marlena had never been particularly close. They were more prone to strife than any of the others, which is why she supposed it was good they had gone their separate paths.
"I have three," she corrected gently. "Though only two partook in the season. Marlena works at the Ministry. I don't think she finds parties all that intellectually stimulating."
