Something about the look on his sister’s face made him feel like he’d just won his day. It’s better than any compliment he’d ever received at work. It’s family. He’d long ago vowed to protect them, to do all he could to keep them all safe and happy, and though he was not the best at keeping up with society’s expectations, he surely could do well at the little things; the things that to him truly mattered.

"I’m most delighted you will, because I had already planned on having you teach me everything!" Not exactly true, but he couldn’t help and grin. "Tell me, what is it that I should know? Are gardening spells difficult, or is it a tough balance with knowing the needs of plants and herbs?"
