Mireille debated on just staying as a fox for the rest of the day, at least then she wouldn't have to keep up polite conversations. It was tempting, but it would probably bring up more questions like: Where was she? Was she alright? Why is there only one twin and not the other? She could just imagine the rumors flying about and she didn't want to disappoint her family anymore than she was.

"Good morning to you too, Odette." she replied in just as quiet of a tone after transforming into her human form. "I was out to late exploring and did not wish to wake up anyone by coming home so late."

It was true... to an extent. She didn't feel the need to elaborate that she'd fallen asleep outside. She figured that was a given.
