Mire was surprised that Mrs. Beck didn't ask questions about her family. She knew that not many cared about what another's blood status was besides upper class purebloods. Some middle class, and a few working class, possibly cared but... It had never accured to her that many didn't care.

She almost laughed in the blonde's face at the comment that perhaps her family would come around. Odette? Naeva? Liking half-bloods? She'd think the world was ending if that ever happened. Even her father wouldn't be on her side in this. No, she'd be alone. She was sure even Sun's family would grow to dislike her after some time.

It didn't matter that Sun had younger twin sisters, she was still a twin. And a very unlucky one at that.
