Appearance:

Veronica is of average height standing at five feet and two inches. Her physic naturally curvy and feminine. She posses dark brown hair that falls limp and lifeless when not pinned up or curled. Her eyes are also a dark brown shade and her face has a soft shape to it. She was not the standard pretty in the Victorian. For clothing, she wears clothes that befit her station and prefers them in darker shades. Her dominant hand is her right.

History:

1859| The first child of Victoria and Silvanus Harkiss was born.

1863| After years of being the only child, she welcomes a sister named Isobel. While her parents might have been disappointed that the baby was not male, the four year old certainly welcomed her presence.

1866|Her first magical display was during playtime with Isobel when she made her sister's skin change into different colors when her sister manages to break one of her favorite toys.

1868| Another sibling was born and it was a brother this time. He was named Charles. Veronica being old enough tries to be the best sister to the baby and her sister. As the year went by, she grew annoyed at the wailing child. She never remembered Isobel being this loud when she was a baby.

1869|More boys in the family! And not just one, but two younger brothers were born. The twins were named Amos and Arthur. Veronica was a bit disappointed that there was no chance of having another girl in the family. This time she actually liked the twins better than Charles.

1870|Hogwarts time! She was sorted in Ravenclaw. While she was somewhat shy, she was able to have some friends. She was academic minded but she was not the best with a wand and was frequently sent to the hospital wing but after  practice she was able to get better.

1872| She enters her third year and adds the following electives to her schedule: Earth magic, Divination and Care of magical creatures.

1874| Isobel joins her at Hogwarts. She also enters her fifth year and is chosen as prefect.

1877| Muggles become aware of the existence of witches and wizard. It worried Veronica but they were pretty safe in their current home and there was no need to move to Hogsmeade. Vee also graduates with excellent grade. Despite that she becomes a debutante instead.

1880| After several unsuccessful seasons, a widower named Nathaniel Gallivan courts her. While she was not in love with him, she does think of him fondly. Upon meeting his family, she was surprised to find out that her future step children were not toddlers. She expected them to be much younger. Charles goes to Hogwarts.

1881| In May, Veronica marries Mr. Gallivan in a simple ceremony. Through her marriage she earns two step children namely Theodore and Cecily. Cecily longing for a mother welcomes her easily into their home while she struggled to get along with Theodore. In autumn, Cecily goes to Hogwarts. Veronica is made oblivious of her husband's condition and believes that all his out-of-town visits are for their shop or the Chudley Cannons.

1882| Majority of Veronica's time were spent on taking care of her step-children , practicing divination and participating in charitable events
Veronica gives birth to her first child, a son named after her Husband.

1883|A second child and a daughter was born. While she loves both of all of her children (including Cee and Theo) but it was obvious that she doted more on baby Selene. Victoria Harkiss dies of illness later that year.

1884| Her sister moves in with them while her brothers remained with their father though her brothers still frequently visit them especially during vacation.

1885| Cecily finds out about Nathaniel's condition and Veronica continues to be unaware of it. She does notice a change on their relationship as well as Cecily's attitude but dismisses it as a part of the girls growth.

1886| Theodore graduates and starts Auror training. She was secretly highly against it as it was a dangerous career. The last thing that she wanted was for the boy to come home with an injury.

1887| Veronica wanders to their main cellar and catches her husband in the midst of his transformation from werewolf to human. She was stunned and deeply hurt by it. All she can do was keep it a secret for the sake of their children and she did like dogs. After the revelation, she continued to act normal but is visibly tense whenever Lycanthropy is brought up.
