Character Questions
#3
Which is your character's favorite: beef, pork, poultry, ham, venison, lamb?  Pork

Does your character tend to overthink things (i.e. wonder why their patronus is their patronus) or do they just accept everything without questioning it? As a single woman whose constantly giving everyone the run around, she over thinks everything. The devil is in the details and she is his playmate.

Was your character educated in muggle history and sciences as a youth, or did their parents have them learn only things that would be relevant to them in the magical world? Aside from learning gravity the old fashion way i.e. falling out of a tree, her education was pretty rudimentary: reading, writing, arithmetic. Aside from that nothing much about muggles, time was spent practicing an art or doing chores.

Do your characters keep up with the regular happenings of the muggle world, or do they turn a blind eye to it?  Her only means of news from the muggle world would be through the wizarding media, other than that it's a blind and rather distrustful eye.

What is your character's "ideal" partner, if they so desire one? What traits do they specifically dislike (barring "stat-like" traits like blood status)? A man who has no desire to marry her or contractually own her, doesn't ask questions about the oddities between  her and her "brother," and comes to her aid whenever she may have need or want of him. In other words a friend with benefits.

How would your character react if a family member married a muggle or a squib? She doesn't know of her biological parents, aside from the fact that her mother was in all probability a veela. However, as far as what is left of her adoptive family: a squib she wouldn't care, a muggle would feel like a betrayal of her tiny trust.

Is their anything particularly notable/odd about your character's bedroom? Do they decorate it strangely, or does it look like what you'd imagine being the "norm" for their class? Her room is pretty divided between her side and, "Phil's" side which she takes great pains to make look genuine. Aside from that it looks a bit like a gypsy caravan with a few pictures of various burnt conditions, reminiscent of her days traveling in The Golden Spectacle. There are no pictures of her and "Phil" together though.

What is your character's preferred method of transportation? Foot, everything else requires money at some point (buying a broom, buying floo powder, paying a taxi cabby) and apparition can lead to unpleasant surprises.

For characters living in "Elsewhere" without specification, do they live in a city flat, town-home, or a country home? N/A

For your male characters: would they ever wish for their parents/older brother(s) to die so they could inherit?  N/A

What's your character's greatest insecurity? Oddly enough her beauty from being Half Veela. She lives in a world where women are considered second class and hold few rights. More so she is not well to do and exists among the working class. This means she is a target to men who are not accustom to hearing or listening to the word, "No," and in the court of law there is little to aid in her defense.  Hence another reason why she only goes out as "Phil" because as a half Veela it's not a matter of if she will be pursued but rather when, and it's likely not to result in her favor.
