February 4, 1889 - St. Mungo's Hospital
Guinevere had insisted that this was unnecessary, but had been told that not getting checked out would be unwise. All she really wanted to do was go home. See her children. Hopefully someone would be able to get her younger children out of school temporarily so she could see them. Did she even have custody over them at the moment? No, it was likely Ace that was guardian to his siblings. Poor boy, she would have to fix that as soon as possible. He was too young to be responsible over his siblings.
When she heard the frantic voices in the hall way, she looked out the door to try to see who was there. Was that really them? Did they really already sound so close to adulthood? She remembered when they were little kids, playing in the house. But sure enough, it was her two eldest children as they spotted her in her room. Smiling brightly at them, she didn't even notice the tears until they were running down her cheeks and splashing on her hands. "Oh, my darlings. How I've missed you." She choked out. This had been the first time she had cried since her rescue. The healers had mentioned something about shock.
