A tight smile pulled at her lips, “And yet, it remains the truth.” Nimiane told him with complete honesty. “My world has long since frowned down upon me. You were the first to look past all of it.” She told him, gently. “And you did not frown at me, or balk at the truth of the matter. You didn’t try to push it from sight and forget about it. You embraced it.” Nimiane was surprised how many words tumbled from her, her gentle voice urging him to understand. “That is why there was no harm done.” She told him, laying her hands out to him in a gesture of openness.
