Zelda's eyebrows arched so high it was a wonder they did not fly off of her forehead. No one had ever tried to explain the techniques of kissing to her, and this was, hands down, the most awkward she had ever seen Mr. Darrow. That ought not to be a surprise - they usually were not obligated to kiss - but considering how awkward he was normally, Zelda found herself shocked nonetheless.

Her heart was beating too fast and there was a rushing sound in her ears, and she realized that she had not, actually, said anything. Instead she was just staring at him. Very predictable, but also very embarrassing.

Zelda blurted: "I think you should really kiss me."
