"Hogwarts is oh so much fun. There's all kinds of wonderful classes and the Great Hall is splendid. The grounds are breathtaking. I would have stayed if they let me." Daff honestly would have stayed forever if she'd been able. Not that she was afraid to grow up or be an adult, but things were a lot easier at school.
Daff meandered down the aisle with a swish of her skirts toward the cabbage in the corner. He was a little surly, but usually enjoyed being fed. "That's a pity, purple is such a lovely color." She mused airily, gently nudging a cabbage leaf to make sure it was awake. "Isn't that unfair." She pursed her lips about the devil comment. "There are some kinds of bad magic, but you have to intentionally know and learn them. Accidental magic happens to everyone, especially when we're upset or scared. They don't teach those awful things at Hogwarts." Daff assured Billie with a smile over her shoulder.
Taking a piece of old mint plant, Daff held it out for the cabbage to eat. It snapped it up easily, though not without almost getting Daffy's fingers in the process. "He's not very careful. But it doesn't hurt much if he does get you." She chuckled as the plant mimicked what would look like chewing. "There's classes on charms and transfiguration, once you get old enough you can take lessons on creatures and divination if you like. First years you have flying lessons, those are fun." Fun, but had been a one and done for Daff, she was not meant to fly. "Calla will be in different classes by the time you get there, we could hold onto her books for you." That certainly couldn't be so hard, it wasn't like they would need them again!
