August 5th, 1888
Miss Fairchild,
Oh yes, I was more than delighted when I walked outside and found the skies blue once more! The dusty scent continues to linger in my nose, a solemn reminder of the summer lost due to yet another tragedy. The explanation given by the press—and subsequently your aunt—makes me even more anxious to join you at at the meeting.
The 19th would work just splendidly; the past few days have been spent in London to find every item on my supply list, so I don't believe there will be any errands preventing me from meeting you there.
Sincerely,
Miss Frida Lestrange
