"Well, if you insist," Dru said indulgently. She could buy a ring. She had enough spending money that she wouldn't even have to ask her husband, but even if she had needed to ask him she would have told more than asked. She was owed the ability to spend her own money, after all. It was one of the only things she'd discussed with Albert Pettigrew before the wedding, because that was something her father had made difficult and it was important to her.

She didn't know what Morrigan had been planning to do with her day after hitting the self destruct button on her wedding, but if she thought she was going to go home and sit around in her nightgown and sulk then Dru could certainly do better than that.
