A few things happened in the moments after the flying fanged frisbee came in to land on Carolines lap.

One: The frisbee did what it had been magicked to do: it sunk it's teeth into the surface it had landed onto.

Two: She jumped, let out a squeal and dropped her ice-cream at the same time.

Three: After jumping Caroline proceeded to act in self-preservation and try to swat the thing as far as she could away and away it awkwardly tumbled...

Four: Caroline, of course, instantly feeling a pang of regret over her instantaneous reaction fearing she'd injured the poor defenseless creature rushed over to wherever she had swatted the poor thing only to discover that, disappointedly, it was not a poor defenceless creature but a fanged frisbee. Wesley had gotten one recently and beyond wondering how it worked and wanting to know if she could take it apart for science Caroline had decided they were annoying. Especially when he kept leaving it in inconvenient places for his sisters to find.

Caroline stared at it as it attempted to dig its fangs into the earth and considered poking it with a stick and tease the damned thing. It was a magical construct afterall and therefore it wouldn't be as if she was teasing a real-life animal. She then remembered her icecream and groaned.

She had been enjoying that.

She really did wish she had a stick now. It deserved a good poke for that.
