Herding sheep always brought its own challenges. Sheep and cows have minds of their own and tend to wander places that even the best sheppard could deal with, especially if some cows were in the mix. They all wanted to wander to their own preferred places. Somewhere where the grass tasted better or where the sun was hitting just right. Regardless what the sheep or the cows were thinking, it was always a huge pain in the ass when they wandered into places Hazel hated being at. One of those places was being near Hogwarts, a place that Hazel rather not remember. Luckily, it was rather far way and should could barely make out the castle from where she was. It looked more like a blob of black and grey from where she was at but she knew what it was.

Deciding resign herself to her animal based faith, Hazel had followed her sheep to the grassy shores of the Black Lake, making sure they didn't wander anywhere near the water. Usually it wasn't an issue as the sheep hated water but one might never know with the giant squid. This meant that Hazel had spent several hours of her work day making sure sheep don't become squid lunch.

Sighing, Hazel watched over the mostly sleeping flock, leaning on her walking stick. Herding during the winter always was a chore. Early mornings and late nights. Taking a sip from her water flask, Hazel finally decided to sit down under a tree near the lake. "Maybe next time, I try to avoid Hogwarts." Hazel would mutter to herself, looking at the about 300 sheep that were either eating grass or sleeping near the lake.
