In their youth, Titus was Hadrian's shadow, secretary and general dogsbody – and he was happy to help categorise specimens Hadrian sent home or submit his new species discoveries or write up field reports for him, because Titus has always been a scholar through and through. The research side, naturally: he is proper and veers anxious and a little shy. He might have a fully academic career, or split his time between a Ministry career and extra classes, but he has some connection to the Flint Institute. Now that he's an adult and coming into his own – and usually has his father's support in his ventures – he is less than delighted that Hadrian is home to upset his usual routines.
