The first year girl had so many questions, each displaying an eagerness that Millie might have misplaced for herself. She was too consumed tonight with being prudent and upstanding, not even joining in with the remarks Anne passed to her from behind. How she wished to have all of Hogwarts ahead of her again, right at the beginning, instead of staring down her OWLs like a runaway carriage.
"We have quite a few clubs, most of the professors have one for their class. I take part in Dueling, Charms and Book Club," she recounted, and then had to stop to think for a moment. How many more were there that the young witch didn't bother to take regular note of? Thinking of which ones occupied the time of her friends and classmates helped. "There's also Flying club, French, and clubs for games like Chess and Gobstones. Club Quidditch, too, it's not really a team. And then there's Quadpot, which doesn't really make sense to me."
Millie gave the younger girl a little shrug behind a wan smile. If she had the time, there may have been more clubs that drew her interest. As it was, some weeks she really found it more appealing to offer those meeting times to her own books instead. At least the young witch would be in charge of choosing those for the book club this year. "I wish your brother luck at tryouts, Miss Shacklebolt."
